here, Sullivan County is a biannual travel and lifestyle magazine produced by Edible Hudson Valley in partnership with the Sullivan Catskills Visitors Association. The publication celebrates the people, places, food, culture, and natural beauty of Sullivan County, with stories highlighting the region’s outdoor destinations, restaurants, farms, makers, artists, small businesses, and community life.
For the launch issue, I developed the magazine's editorial design system, creating a flexible visual framework that could support a wide range of story types while giving the publication a cohesive and distinctive sense of place. The visual approach balances regional lifestyle polish with the warmth and texture of the Sullivan Catskills, using expressive typography, immersive photography, generous pacing, and flexible layout structures to create a publication that feels elevated, approachable, and deeply connected to place.
